Name & Title

Daniel O’Connor, Press Feeder Operator

Hometown

Waukesha, WI

Educational Background

Waukesha North High School

What attracted you to Delzer?

I came here with a background in printing – my last job was with Quad Graphics, where I worked for three years. What I really liked about Delzer was their scheduling flexibility and being able to give me the hours I need.

About Your Role at Delzer

Right now I’m training with one of Delzer’s Press Feeder Operators to learn more about working with the Komori press. We make sure the paper is being fed correctly into the machine, the inks are full and the printing plates are up when and where they need to be. I also help with machine maintenance.

Eventually, my goal is to learn how to operate the “front end” of the machine as a Press Operator.
